There is no way to soften that fourth column. In Costa Rica, Saily is beaten on price at every single size, usually by both Airalo and Yesim. In Greece the same brand is a bargain; here the local wholesale deal clearly costs it more. Anyone who tells you Saily is the cheapest Costa Rica eSIM has copied a price list from another country.
Saily will not name its Costa Rican network and that matters here
Airalo, Yesim, GigSky and Holafly all publish their Costa Rica partners. Saily's Costa Rica product page names none. We checked the page, the FAQ and the coverage documentation on September 2, 2026 and found no Costa Rican operator identified anywhere.
In a country with one national network you could shrug at that. Costa Rica has three, they diverge sharply outside the Central Valley, and choosing between them is the single most consequential decision a traveler makes here. Not being able to check which one you are buying is a real disadvantage, not a pedantic one.
To be fair to Saily: it almost certainly rides the same Claro and Liberty wholesale that everyone else does, since Kölbi does not sell that access to travel eSIMs. We are not going to state that as fact when the company itself will not, and neither should any guide that has not seen it confirmed. One column is Saily's and it is a strong one. If you have ever had a travel eSIM fail on a Sunday and discovered that support is a chatbot, the 4.7 score is not an abstraction. The question is whether it is worth $12.64 over Yesim and $2.99 over Airalo on a 10GB plan, on a trip where you also cannot look up the network. For most Costa Rica routes we think it is not, and we say so.

It is very likely Claro or Liberty, because Kölbi does not sell wholesale roaming to travel eSIMs, but likely is not published and we will not print it as fact.
Does Saily have an unlimited plan for Costa Rica?
No. Saily's unlimited products are global bundles with a 30GB ceiling behind the word, and there is no Costa Rica unlimited plan. If you want unlimited for this country, Airalo publishes a 3GB/day cap and Holafly sells uncapped phone data with a 1GB/day hotspot limit.
Is Saily worth more than Airalo in Costa Rica?
